US nationals 2016

This last weekend the US Fireball National Championship was held on Lake Pleasant in Phoenix, Arizona. There were 9 boats at this regatta with sailors from 6 different countries.
We had 5 wide bows and 4 boats racing in the 'classic' class.
5 good races on Saturday and we were blown off the lake on Sunday. 
Our scoreboard had Debbie Kirkby and Liz Brennen in first, Rob Thomson and Francis in second, and Rupert Holmes-Smith with Greg Desilets in third. On the old boats, Steve Goacher and Tim Edlund in first, Graham Schaefer and Frederick Moor in second, and Alejandro and Caroline Bustillos in third.
