2022 World Championship at Geelong, Australia postponed

Fireball World Championship in Geelong, Australia rescheduled to Feb 2024

Due to the uncertainty of travel in the foreseeable future FI and the host location Royal Geelong Yacht Club have taken the decision to postpone the Australian World Champtionship till Feb 2024.

To increase the chances of a successful World Championship in 2022, FI are investigating the prospect of an European location for the World Championships. The hope is that a more easily accessible venue in Europe would promote a greater level of participation.
