For Sale: Fireball 14545 ‘Invictus’. She comes with everything needed for competitive sailing and was upgraded for Fireball Worlds in Geelong in 2024. Invictus is an Australian-built YMS Fireball built in 1997. She comes with 1 Spinnaker Pole, 2 spinnakers, 2 mainsails, 2 Jibs. All sails are fairly well-used but good for training and club racing. The boat was re-rigged with all new lines a couple years ago. There is a top cover, and road-worthy combo trailer/trolly registered in Victoria with built-in sail and gear locker. This is a good boat for somebody wanting to get into Fireball racing. The owners competed in 2024 Fireball Worlds in Geelong and improved almost every race to achieve a mid-fleet finish and win the handicap trophy. Invictus needs to get on the water again! This is the boat you have all been waiting for! Based in Europe this boat has only bee sailed at a small number of regattas with some amazing results. This boat has flattered our sailing ability and carried us to a 2nd and a 3rd at consecutive world championships. AUS 15152 comes with trolley, top and bottom covers, M7 Super spar mast. 3 sets of regatta sails (Irwin and P&B) (1 set will have only sailed the Lake Garda Worlds). The second set only sailed Ireland worlds and Slovenian Europeans. AUS 15152 is a Winder put together lovingly by P&B and maintained by them for a number of years. It has only done the following Sailing UK Nationals Penzance (finished 3rd), Worlds Carnac (finished 15th including heat win), Worlds Montreal (finished 2nd - 4 heat wins), Worlds Ireland (3rd including a heat win), Europeans Slovenia (finished 9th including a heat win).
