Only 8 weeks to go until the Zhik Australian National Championships begin. Port Lincoln look set to put on a great event so make sure you get your entries in fast. Early entry closes on the 30th November with a late fee applying after that.
Port Lincoln is a beautiful place to visit with Coffin Bay just around the corner. Known for it's tuna farms there is always plenty of fresh seafood on offer.
On the layday organisers are looking at trips out to swim with the tuna and sea lions or for the more adventurous there is the swim with the great whites!!!!

In recent weeks information has been added about a new backpackers that is opening soon. There are plenty of other options too.
A number of lease boats are potentially available for the event if you are keen to come along.

On the water we are expecting a fleet of around 25 boats from Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. Robin Inns and Joel Coultas as 3 time champions go into the event as the hot favorites but they won't have an easy ride with Tom Gordon and Jack Fletcher showing some good form in recent weeks. There is a rumour that 2011 champions Michael Thompson and Eddie Alder are coming out of retirement and Greg Alison and Richard Watson are always in the mix.
Off the water there will be plenty to keep everyone happy with dinners at the club, social outings and lots of restaurants and pubs to test out.
