Fireballs Going Back to Thailand

While the details are still being finalised - ie dates and venue - we can now confirm that the 2014 Fireball World Championships are looking to go back to Thailand.

Andrew Davies has been working hard with his contacts in Thailand to try and find a fresh, new and exciting holiday destination with great sailing.

Suggestions have included Phuket and Hau Hin, with Hau Hin currently leading in the race.

The regatta is likely to be early in the year as it has been on previous occasions in Thailand.  Most likely March.

Those of you who have travelled to either the 2000 or 2008 Worlds in Pattaya know how much fun Thailand is.  It is a very cheap holiday destination with great beaches, plenty of tourist attractions and most importantly sensational sailing.

Start planning now as this will be a worlds not to be missed.

Andrew has meetings early in 2013 to finalise details for the event and as soon as we know more we will post information on the web site so stay tuned.
