Czech Cup regattas

The first attempt to sail a Cup regatta during the first May
weekend at Rozkos lake was disaster. No wind, even not a single
boat afloat. Well, shit happens.
The next weekend, the next attempt at Nove Mlyny, was already
much better. Seven races in W - NW wind of force 10 - 12 knots were
satisfaction for each of 22 teams. After Saturday four races were
overnight leaders Verner-Winkled tied with Kořan-Kvasnik, just a
point ahead of Hájek-Preibischová and four points ahead of
Čáp-Procházka. Quite an open regatta….
Even before the last seventh race on Sunday there was still a
victory tie between Verner-Winkler and Kořan-Kvasnik. But the last
race gave the clear answer who's the best. Verner-Winkler won with
a comfortable gap, while Kořan-Kvasnik finished 9th.
