North American Championships

This year's North American championship was a hotly contested regatta, which saw the fleet in a 12 way tie coming into the second to last race. The tie was broken by Eric Owston and Lisa Leblanc who dominated the fleet in the last 2 races eventually winning the event with straight bullets. The winds were extreme, and the dedicated race committee had to keep the feet on shore both days waiting for the weather to moderate. The hospitality at Pointe Claire Yacht Club was top-notch, and the fleet enjoyed a wonderful meal on Saturday evening!
